OT: prayers for a friend in need

I feel helpless as there is not much I can do for a dear friend, so this is one thing I can do for her.

She has had sole custody of her children for 6 years and a restraining order keeping the father away from her and the children.

Yesterday she received a sumons that he was petitioning to change the custody.

She is in a panic now, dealing with lawyers and courts. Now based on the history I do not think he will have a chance to get any unsupervised visits, but the stress it is putting on my friend is huge.

So what I ask is for you to prayer and pixie dust for her to have the strength to get through this.

Prayers to your friend and her children. You're right this can be a scary thing. It seems like he is purposly trying to make her feel uncomfortable, which isn't right. I hope things are cleared up fast so that she does not have to deal with this much longer.
