robinb-Your little one sounds like mine.
At least you know you're not alone

! Seriously ... I never, ever found the right thing to bribe with. M&M's, stickers, smiley faces, cheers, special videos. Nothing worked. Plus, she was never been one of those kids who really, really wants to please her parents. She couldn't care less. So, even though she "got" the idea of using the potty, she didn't do it to please me. The main problem is that my DD is too
focused on what she is doing, no matter what that thing is. Using the potty is a distraction for her. Luckily, she hated to be poopy, so that was done in the potty by about 2 1/2. But, she really didn't really care if she was wet. **sigh**
It's not really anything I can control and giving up the
mere thought that I had any control over the situation was the hardest for me. Even once I knew intellectually there was nothing more I could do, I was still frustrated at her lack of progress. It irked me

when I would see a tiny little girl in undies ... I still get a bit jealous and wish my DD were easier. My guess is that she won't be wetting her pants in college

and that's enough for me now
She turns 3 tomorrow...........
Happy Birthday!!!!

Mine turns 6 at WDW. We're spending 2 weeks with her 6 year old cousin. Maybe some better potty use will rub off on her!
