So maybe I am a little weird, but we have been back for a week, the weather is cold and yucky! All the holiday decorations are down. Winter break is over. I am back at work.

Spring is MONTHS away, and we aren't planning to go back to Disney until June 2010 - still too far out to plan for.

I am bumbed. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I don't have any good suggestions for you. But I know exactly how you're feeling. I remember that huge letdown after you get back to "real life." It stinks. :-(

Hang in there. In a few months you'll be able to start a little of your 2010 planning. (Hey - we'll be there in June, too!)

Just wanted you to know that someone out there feels your pain.

I suffer from Disney withdrawl too. I think its normal. That's why I surf on here...it helps keep me in my happy place until I can get back again. :goodvibes

Our trip is less than 3 weeks away and my husband and I have been talking about how bad my depression will be when we get back. While we are half kidding when we say it, we both know that I probably will be a little depressed. There is a tremendous build-up and then it's over. The best way I've found to make myself feel a little better, is to post on the DIS, then start thinking about the next trip. Our trips are always at least two years apart, so definitely can't linger in Disney-la-la-land for 2+ years. Hi Ho, Hi Ho , it's back to reality we go!:rotfl:

We always feel depressed upon our return from WDW. It's such a fun, magical place to escape too. When it's over, reality really hits hard! I find it comforting to post on the Dis knowing that we're not alone. We also like to relive the memories - looking thru our pictures and watching video footage. Then it's just hang in there until our next trip when the planning begins again. :goodvibes

Dh & I have the same problem. We went in October. Our 3 year old even says he can't wait to go back. I am starting to plan our 2010 trip & the planning is helping a little.

We got back last night at 10:30pm (drove) and DH is on the computer right now working on a February trip. It's a sickness. Thank heaven he's a travel agent!!

That's a great title...
I too am suffering from PMS, I miss being there so much. We will be there November 2010 and while I don't want to wish away the next 2 years, I want to be there so badly, or at least be planning the trip. But it's too early (for me anyway). I always am so happy when we are within a year and I can do my silly countdowns. I know if money wasn't an issue my DH would take me again, but money is an issue so I will suffer along with you and know how lucky I am to have been and be going again (even if it feels like forever away.)

Any meds you can take for this form of PMS???:confused3 I'd like to see my insurance pay for that...:lmao:
