OT - Pizza Stone

I am looking for a pizza stone for an xmas present. Like the ones from pastry chef - anyone have any ideas where to get one??

I am assuming you mean Pampered Chef? Here is a link where you can fill in to have a consultant in your area contact you. I have done this and it works well, that way you can have the "real" thing for your gift.

You might want to try Safeway, they sell them here in Saskatoon for about $12.

This is the (best) well most used, that I didnt think I would need. wedding present I got 10 years ago.

I now see them at Zellers, and any kitchen supply store. (stokes etc)

I was going to order off the Pampered Chef website today but I am leaving for Disney Friday night, Sat morning and it would not be here before I leave. I am not returning until the 23rd, so am wondering if the quality would be as good if I buy from Zellers or somewhere else.

I'd order from Pampered Chef over Zellers or elswhere. I haven't used them, but I have a feeling the generic stones might not be nearly as nice in quality as the Pampered Chef stones. My family has been using Pampered Chef stones for 5+ years now(the same ones for that long) and we've had no problems with them. They've replaced almost all our bakeware(except cake/muffin pans). I think they may even have a warranty.

Pampered Chef stones = Worth the extra $$ and the time to get them.

Thanks everyone. I used that link and just by putting in my info it came up to a site of a rep in my area. She then contacted me by email this am. She is putting the order for me, and having it sent to her house, since it won't be here by the time I leave for Disney. I will pick it up from her when I get home.

My Dad is going to be so excited. He is a very good cook and was so jealous when he found out I had a pizza stone.

Glad that you got one. We got ours at the Superstore, I do believe. It works great. We got it about two years ago, use it all the time and it's still in great shape.
