OT - Personalized Princess Towel - Seo Young

I received this instead of my order from Disney Shopping. They don't want me to send it back as it's not worth the money to them. But do you have a little girl in your life named Seo Young? It looks like a nice personalized Princess beach towel! PM me and I'll send it to you instead. I hate to have it go to waste, and I feel it would be a bit weird to have my kid use a towel with another kid's name on it!

In light of certain other threads, I'm sure I'm about to get accused of all sorts of awful things...so please feel free to suggest what I might do with this unwanted item or where I could donate it. I'd just like to do something nice with it. Give it to a kid, etc.

I know nothing about sewing, and this might not even be possible (told you I know nothing about sewing!), but can't you take the embroidery thread out and just have the plain towel?

Nope, can't take the name off. It's embroidered on, and man, did they do a nice job! The only way to get it off would be to cut it out. Good to know if you ever want to order one of these towels - I think they are on sale, the customer rep told me it was only $5.99 with the personalization.

I still have hope I'll stumble across someone with that name!
