CONGRATS!!
The guy who carried it in Brampton (Honourary Torch bearer) was so overwhelmed he was crying. Very amazing to see. Loved it. Made you proud to be a Canadian
Yesterday afternoon in Oakville! We had a chance to chat and take photos with Adam Van Koeverden. He was supposed to canoe along the creek with his torch but it had iced over - instead he ran along side with the canoe over one shoulder and the torch in his other hand. He was cheered on by supporters at the canoe club and then headed back downtown to pass on the flame. Totally awesome!!
The Olympic Torch just came through our town of Fort Erie, in the Niagara region, what a site it was to see Sarted out with pancake breakfast for the town, then the torch came through, it was amazing.
This American went last night to Niagara Falls. It was beautiful with the majestic falls in the background. You all have much to be proud of. It was a wonderful expereince and Canada will be a wonderful host to the world!

The torch is coming to Woodstock on the 27th, we can't wait to see it. I'm telling my son that it will be an experience that he will never forget.
I was curious about the route (since it is in Sarnia before Woodstock) so here is the link to the route so you can follow it. http://www.vancouver2010.com/more-2...ch-relay/olympic-torch-relay-interactive-map/
The Chatham event was great- the torch stayed overnight there. Our little city of 44000 had almost 10,000 people through the site. Shae Lynn Bourne and Todd Warnier skated with the kids-tonnes of entertainment (along with my daughter) I was a volunteer and it was real busy. Got up this morning and was out on the street at 6:30 to cheer on a friend who was running the torch.
What a great pic. We stood on London Road and watched it go by. What a great moment in Sarnia today. I still remember the torch relay back in 1988 when it was on its way to Calgary. Canada is awesome!
The torch goes by our house next Monday morning so we are starting to plan a breakfast party with friends to see and cheer. Our kids are quite excited about the Olympics and this will be a neat part of that experience. Opening Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (for Wii) at Christmas should help as well!
