My last cat passed away on Labour Day, and I was sure I wasn't going to get another cat for a very long time. That turned out to be 2 months.

Announcing the arrival of our beautiful kitten Hades. We got him from Toronto Animal Services. If anyone else is interested, they have a number of fine felines looking for homes. And, you can browse online to see which location has a pet you're interested in. I'm just giving them a plug because we're so happy with our new kitty, and so sad that there were so many we couldn't take.

Congrats and welcome home to kitty!!

We are just in the process of helping my mil find a new kitten so I'll be sure to check them out!

Hades is beautiful :) and lucky to have a good home.

Awwwwwwww what a beautiful cat. Its great you got him from a shelter. Here in my little town we have a place called "Katies Place" where they take in stray pets and get them fixed (By Donations) of course, and then they find homes for them. I give Kudos to anyone who brings home an animal like you did.

He's doing the usual kitten stuff, crawling on my head, poking me with his claws, sticking his face in mine... "Mom, you awake? Wake up, Mom, I'm bored. Wake up and pet me". He gets away with it, too.

I'm a real cat person, we have 3 right now, but I'd have a dozen if I could... I'm going to end up as one of those cat ladies, one day - alone in a basement apartment with 50 of them.

Have fun with your new kitty :)
