Hi guys! A couple of Saturdays ago DF and I were moving a couch out of our theater room into the garage, as clumsy as I am, I tripped over some air and cut my nose open pretty bad. well to make a long story short, I ended up putting a bandaid on it since bandaids make everything go away. I still have a cut on my nose and Sunday is DF's birthday, my parents and I are planning on taking DF out to a nice restaurant and I don't want to wear a huge bandaid on my nose- it is right at the bridge of my nose- but I don't want people to stare at my cut on my nose. What could I do to kind of cover it up. I have used foundation on it and it is still pretty noticeable.

Any ideas? I'll try anything at least once to cover it up- luckily we are not getting married until December so there is still time for it to heal.

Okay...this may be a gross question, but is it a "gaping" cut? Or a pretty clean slit?

I know when I get papercuts I use this stuff called "liquid bandage"...you kind of paint it on and it seals the skin together (does that make sense?).

I'm thinking maybe you could use a little of that and then go over it with make-up? It could work...or it could make a big ole mess!! Might be worth a try though...

it was a gaping cut- my mom is an er nurse and told me that it probably needed stiches but a cosmetic surgeon had to do it and I wouldn't be able to find one on the weekends. It cut so deep too that I could see the bone. but it seems to be healing pretty nice now. it's a little cut now since the skin reattached itself. I'll try that liquid bandaid stuff and see how it holds up.
