After 4 boys we are finally having a little girl!!! What a wonderful surprise it was to discover(during ultrasound) that our baby is a girl. We have a history of conceiving boys so we never really thought to long about girl names. Some not so common suggestion would be great. Our boys names are:Riley Michael, Avery Tyler, Gavin Alexander, & Cooper Ethan. Help me find the perfect name!

Well, with 4 boys I am assuming you would like something strictly girl, not that could be used for either a girl or boy.
Riley Avery Gavin Cooper and...?
Emma Kathryn- Emma Kate
Courtney
Shannen
Sidney
Reese

I am really just guessing at what you might like. Everyone is different. I like your boys names! We wanted Cooper but changed at the last minute and I love Avery...who knows maybe we'll have a #3 boy- We have a Casey and a Brady...and no plans for numero 3 as of yet.

Good luck.
Baby names are like a hobby of mine-I am always interested in what people name their babies. Are there family names maybe you could use for a middle name?

Since we have girl names we like, and we had a hard time with my sons name I have a feeling I'll have all boys!!

We like Annika and Josslyn

ETA - We have a Garrison Xavier :)

I'm old fashioned. I like

Emma
Grace
Faith
Katie
Sarah
Elizabeth

Congratulations on finally getting your girl!
Not that all babys aren't special but finally having a girl is very special.

Here are a few girls names that I've liked

Hannah
Elizabeth
Gracie
Shannon

well, we loved Annabelle but we knew an Isabelle who was naughty so that killed than name for us! And then dd turned out to be mischeivious anyway so that backfired! :lmao: We went with Elleanna Rose, which is kind of like switching the Anna and Belle around....... Here was our short list.....Good luck!

Elleanna
Annabelle
Cecelia
Lillian or Lillianna(Disney name too! - Walt's wife!)
Emily
Lauren

Love your boy's names! I have a DS, but my girl name for him (if he turned out to be a girl) was Kylie Gabrielle. Good luck!!

In that case Sidney and Reese would be contradictory suggestions, as those are both traditionally masculine names.

What I do notice is that though none of the OP's names are particularly common, they are not ethnic -- pretty solidly English all the way. (OK, maybe Riley is slightly Irish-sounding, but that's as far as it goes.)

If you want girly, I'd go with Elisabeth or some variant of it. It's as solidly English and feminine as they come, and it has a lot of nicknames, too -- Liz, Beth, Lili, etc. Flower names are also VERY feminine, and there are quite a few that are not that common. Don't stop at Lily, Rose and Daisy; think about things like Calla, Dahlia, Hollis or Ivy as well.

Good luck.

Riley and Shannon could also both be boy and girl names!!!

As far as suggestions...couldn't give one. Name choice is WAY too personal. My only suggestion is to check the Top Name list and chose something that is not on that list. I love some of the names on the list but wouldn't want my DD being the 15th Emma in her class!

I always wanted a little Katie!
My girl choices were Evelyn (Evie), Amelia, Katelyn (Katie), Samantha (Sami), and Emma.
I'm very big on nicknames and using the E sound!!

All my girlfriends had girl babies. They are Nina, Lilah, Kaitlyn, and Mia.

I have a Chloe and an Allison. I made my decision obviously based on what I liked and what sounded good with our last name, but I also tried to pick english names/names that are popular in England.

Here's a few "girly" you may like going by the style of the others that haven't been said yet:
Claire
Leila
Sophia
Leah
Trinity
Isabella
Marlena (yes, I'm a DOOL fan)

These last few aren't so girly:
Alexa
Cassidy
Delaney
Aislinn

My youngest was going to be Molly, but we got Joey instead. There are times I want a fourth just to get a Molly!:rotfl: My DD is Katie (Katherine Ava), and she actually does not have another Katie friend. Between her and her little brother, we know 4 Sophias!

We have a Cora. Other top choices were Claire/Clara and Eva/Ava. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Choosing names is tough!

We have 2 boys too but have a hard time with girls names but girls we know lately have been:

Kari (Car-ee) Marian
Lainey Christine
Darby
Sophia Rose
Morgan Elizabeth
Olivia
Ainsley
Annalise

Not sure if you'd like any, it's so hard to name someone you've never met!

my little girl's name is kenley hudson-(middle name):thumbsup2 we also liked emma, payton, grace, paisley, kennedy, brooke, and taylor!!! good luck!!!!

hi there and a huge congratulations, i have 3 kids, 2 girls and a boy...my girls are
jayme elizabeth (almost a danika)
kyana kyrstene (almost a rylee)

my sons name is kole...he would have been a nikkole had he been a girl but jayme couldnt say it and would say only kole, so that is how he got his name...good luck, i would love to have another baby, but my babies are almost 17, 14 1/2 and 12 1/2....i will be turning 40 next year and my oldest baby is graduating :sad2:

Our DD1 is Mallory. We just love her name and we get so many compliments on it, as it's different without being "too different". Good Luck and Congrats!!!!

I had 5 girls princess: princess: princess: princess: princess: before getting my little Johnny pirate: (named after his dad). My girls are

Lauren Frances
Lindsey Marie
Sara Cathryn
Mary Frances LeBel
