OT: Need help on DDR Disney

we got DD7 and DS5 DDR Disney edition and are totally clueless! I tried it and was following the footprints but kept getting the BOO. I read parts of the instructions (i know, but the kids wanted to try it NOW!) and saw you go by the beat not footprints?

Is there anywhere on line that teaches you how the heck to do this thing?

You need to hit the right footprint on the right beat, but only when it hits the top row. They should be scrolling so you can see what is coming, but you have to hit the right one at the right time (when it gets to the top - the reference footprints/arrows).
