Just wanted to ask for a little extra pixie dust from you gals. :sad1: My DH2B's Oma (German for grandmother) is in the hospital. :worried: We don't know much right now ... because they can't do any of the tests they wanted to because she's running a fever. :worried: She was the "healthy" one we weren't "worried" about, so it's thrown us for quite a loop. :scared: She was severely anemic when she was admitted and the blood they gave her didn't help the numbers come up - even a smidge. Plus, now they are baffled :confused3 as to where the blood is going. Opa (German for grandfather - though I bet you could have figured that out! :sad2: ) goes for his latest cancer treatment this morning also - though his numbers have been coming down so it looks like it's working! I know they say that God doesn't give you more than you can handle but if he could let up a bit, I'd appreciate it!

On a side note, Oma did see my dress the weekend before last (her sister in law is doing my alterations) and said it was absolutely gorgeous and was very excited that the blue I picked was the German blue (I of course (not being German) had know idea, but was very excited to hear her praise! She now just needs to be there ... okay no crying at work :sad1: ...this was supposed to be a happy moment at the end of the post!

I'm not one of the "Girls", but I will still send you Prayers and PD. I sincerely hope she will be able to make the wedding.

:figment:

Thanks for all of you thoughts, prayers, and kind words. Shortly after I posted this morning, I got an update from my FMIL. DH2B's aunt works at the hospital she's at. She went by this morning and recognized her, said hello, and they chatted a bit. Apparently, last night when my FFIL was there, she was really out of it. We also learned this morning they (not sure who they is at this point) weren't sure she would make it through the night - but she did! So things are looking up. :-) The new mantra is "she'll be there" ... meaning she'll WILL be at the wedding!

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. MY DH2B and I are actually in the car on our way down to New York to see her. She was transferred to a different hospital last night. The preliminary diagnosis is leukemia but they are still running tests.

So sorry to hear... I will keep them both in my prayers... I will send Tinkerbell to sprinkle some Pixie Dust on them.. Remember: FAITH, TRUST, and PIXIE DUST :tinker: pixiedust:
