This morning my DD(4) came skipping into the living room asking: "Mommy can I see the My Little Pony movie" I said "the DVD?" she said "No, on Disney channel" I replied: "Well, I don't think My Little Pony will be on the Disney channel" After we went back & forth  I switched to the Disney channel & sure enough there was a commercial for the "My Little Pony" movie coming on later this week. Now, maybe I missed something but since when did the my little pony characters or toys (whatever) became apart of the Disney family? If anyone know anything about this or saw the same commercial please fill me in. I mean it's not life or death just curious?:confused3

I know at the toy store in DTD they have a station setup where you can buy a my little pony and then you can get a box to stuff with accessories.

I saw this commercial, too. I think it has to do with the McDonalds toys right now, which are My Little Pony. Disney and McDonalds always seem to have a connection, also there's the Hasbro link... My DD is quite excited about the movie on Saturday at 11 a.m.

there is also a movie coming to the theatres sometime this month. We love MLP here!

Thanks for your responses. ;) They have cleared up my ques about the MLP sighting. :goodvibes Now, as far as the DTD store w/ the MLP - Is it like the build your own Mr. Potato head I have so much about? or is it just Disney accesories you can buy? If so, I can certainly say that our must have souvenir list for our first trip has gotten a little bit bigger :scared1: You guys rock...Thanks again :wizard:

Yes, it's very similar to the Potato Head thing. I belive it was around $15-$20 to fill a box. They had two different ponies to choose from and TONS of different pieces to pick. The only recommendation I have is to go ahead and get at least one pony in the box because the Disney ponies are a tad smaller than the regular ponies. Most of the pieces fit on any My Little Pony, but a few only fit the Disney ones.

The top picture is the baggie filled with everything we could fit in the box plus including the pony.

The bottom picture shows the large containers that you pick from. It's a giant circle of containers, so there are plenty of choices.

Good to know about the movie! I'll have to set the Tivo!

LOVE those pictures of the fill-a-box! We are definitely doing that! :goodvibes

OMG! That is alot of bang for your buck. DD's will defineately be getting the DTD MLP.:thumbsup2 Thanks again for the tip ;)

I have filled a few boxes now.

You should be able to fit everything in it twice, except the pony, bed and mirror-only one of each.

Another tip-dress the pony before putting it in the box.

Seems like a great deal! Plenty of accesories to keep the kids busy as well. Thanks to the poster who shared the pictures, that gives me a much better idea of the setup and what you get!
