OT: Moving Basement entrance/bilco door

This is kind of budget related. I would like to move our entrance to the basement and the bilco door that covers it. Has anyone ever done this? I am wondering the approximate cost. Also, how did they close up where the old opening was and did you ever have problems afterward with water coming in.

Our basement has concrete walls. Thanks for any info.

I've never done that, but I know people who have had windows put into their basement (egree windows I think they are called) and they cost $2000 to dig out, etc. I'm sure the Bilco doors after the fact would cost at least double that bc they need to do the stairs, etc.
