OT: Mommy & Me Groups - Columbus, OH

Hi fellow DISers! My husband and I moved from Chicago to Ohio (Columbus area) about 3 years ago. We also had our beautiful daughter last October and even more recently decided that I would now be a stay at home mom. I'm super excited about this decision and it took about a year to finally make it but we feel it's the best for our family at this point. At any rate, my daughter and I are looking to make some new friends and where better to start than with fellow Disney fans?! Please PM me if you live in the Columbus area and are interested in setting up some play dates!

It's a mother of preschooler's group. The name is misleading as it's a group for mothers of all children ages birth-kindergarten. It's a really good group. You should be able to search on that website for groups in your area.

A friend of mine dragged me to a meeting and after the first night, I was hooked! I was just glad to be around a group of women who were going through the same things I was going through. And now because of that group, I've made a couple of really close girlfriends. Our kids get along so well and 3 of us all ended up having our 2nd babies close together (in about a 1 1/2 month span)!
