Stressed out dudes die. My dad lived a stressed life and died young too.

It's pretty sad thou.

I hope folks take this as a life lesson....life is short, so we should all enjoy it. S

Agreed. Whatever said and done, it is sad when someone leaves this world. Especially those with kids (and I don't think the kids know their mother as well).

Why should we remember allegations, instead of remembering the creativity and the pure talent that he had.

I was not put on Earth to judge, so whether he was guilty or not of past alligations is up to the creator whom MJ has met.

Someone told me that I must not have children and if I did I would not leave them alone with MJ. Yes I have a child, and no I wouldn't leave my child with MJ. Then again I wouldn't leave her alone with Oprah, Obama, or the Pope; I don't know any of those individuals.

whether or not this man was guilty of any of the crimes accused against him, he was still an amazing artist, and he gave SO much to the music industry. His talent has influenced many individuals in this life (Justin Timberlake has been quoted to say that he wouldn't be as talented as he is was it not for the influence of Michael Jackson). If he had ever come to my city, I would have paid an obscene amount of money to see him live (we were actually planning on flying to London to see him....we were willing to pay that much).

I think its tragic that he has left behind 3 kids whom he doted over completely. I hope he does find peace in death...he had been sick for many months....I will miss his music - I still have his Thriller record, and will NEVER give it up!

Incredibly sad news. I admire the way he lived his life. True individuals and free spirits such as Michael Jackson are unfortunately few and far between in this world, and he will be missed.

MJ did influence music and music videos. I'm sad to see him gone - but I strongly think the stress he's been living under caused his early death. At the end of the day I feel for his children, and honestly hope they are given all the support they need.

I heard Sheryl Crow last night and she said 'did you every think you would see him grow old?'.

Another great remark heard last night......'we are out of joy but he is out of pain'.

Sorry but I have to agree with the person earlier. Yes he definitely contributed to the world of music on a world wide scale. That cannot be argued, however... I could never get out of my mind the interview he had where he discussed sharing his bed with a boy and that in his mind it was OK. It's hard to appreciate the music and the artist (and yes I am judging, which I know I shouldn't do) but... I just have a hard time with some of his answers towards the allegations that were made. I tend to give people lots of chances, and do try and look for the good in everybody but... something never just sat right with me. I will miss his music however and I hope that he is finally at peace.
