Hi everyone 
I know this is very off topic, but Im after some advice and I know youll all be able to help
I work for a well known childrens adventure holiday company and on 17th October I was allowed out of my office with my line manager to visit one of our centres. We were there doing some 360degree videoing for our website. When weve been to this centre before to do the video footage, we have always been looked after by the same member of staff, this time though he was busy and he organised someone else to spend the day with us helping. He was great fun, there was lots of giggles (as well as work obviously) and he even bought me a bag of Milky Way Magic Stars.
I returned to the office on Friday and just before the end of the day I got an e-mail from him saying what a great day hed had and if I was ever in the area we should go out for a drink! I was truly gobsmacked, I cant remember the last time anyone asked me out!
As it was the end of the day I sent a quick reply saying that Id had a great day too and that I was sure I could make a special trip up for a drink.
As we dont work weekends at head office, I sent him another message on Monday which was a little longer and asked if there was any days that were best suited to him (working on centre involves strange hours) and explained that I was away the following week. I also popped a pack of sweets in the post to him as wed eaten the ones he had in his car!
Im now back from my week out of the office and Ive heard absolutely nothing from him, Im gutted
I really dont know what to think! 
Do you think its worth me sending him another e-mail saying that Im back from my week out of the office and see if we can get something organised, or do I just leave it as the ball in his court and the possibility that it was a silly prank?
Im keen to hear peoples opinions as Im so out of touch with dating! That makes me sound really old and sad!
