OT Macy's Sale

How often does Macy's have a sale?...We are due to visit in around 4 1/2 weeks....I noticed that they had something I wanted but unfortunately today it's gone back upto full price. When we were there last they had a sale on then too.

I just made out very well at a sale on July 4. They always do holidays, but you might catch one on a random Saturday. Plus, look for the Macy's All Day Savings Pass in your local papers, typically on Thursdays-Saturdays.

It's usually part of the sale ad. It takes an extra 15% off most items.

Macy's around here have sales at least once each week, if not twice. Usually Tuesday/Wednesday, and then again over the weekend.

I agree that it seems like Macy's has a sale 5 out of 7 days of the week.

Really.....they just had a 50% sale fingers crossed they will have it again in 4 weeks time.

If I see something online can the store order it in for me as I don't think they will be able to use my visa card online as I'm not a U.S. Resident.?

I'm a Macy's Merch Coordinator--I have an idea ahead of time if it's going on sale or not. Even better, I know the sales and markdown schedule. You wouldn't believe how often I use it to my own advantage.

As for the online ordering . . . the stores and macys.com are different divisions. The stores can't order online for you, you have to order it directly from Macys.com.

The Tommy goes on and off sale. It's one of those wierd things, it's on for 3 weeks than off for 2. I'm currently deciding on which set I'm buying next, I look at it so much that I just can't make up my mind.

Depening on how long you're going to be down in Orlando, pick it up--if it's not on sale you can get a price adjustemt up to 10 days later.

Yes I agree these Boards are fantastic!!!..there is so much valuable advice.

I was thinking of getting the American Classic in the Bubblegum Pink. Unforunately the Orlando store does not stock them. I will have to call the helpline to see if I can use my UK card over the phone.

One other question if it's not what I was expecting can I return it at the store and also, this 10 day money back return do you have to go to the store or can they just credit your credit card?

I just again the bedding has gone in the sale again...it's not discounted as much...I can't believe how quick the sale starts again.

My favoirte sales are the "One Day Sales" That have "previews" for two days and then are "extended" due to demand! LOL!

You can also get the discount and not need a coupon if you use your Macy's card especially on customer appreciation days (usually 5-7 days a month)

Yes, you can return any macys.com purchases to any Macy's store as long as you return the item along with the original packing slip (this has all the numbers needed to make the return).
They will credit back to the original document used to make the purchase.

My wife works for Macy's also.

They're already starting! I noticed the other day that a bunch of mens wool coats were 60% off and some womens at 40%. The BEST sale of the year is the Friday/Saturday BEFORE Thanksgiving.

Macy's, Like Kohl's ALWAYS has a sale. Every single week. Sometimes two different sales in a week. The mix of what items are on sale and what % off is given is the only thing that changes.
