I don't know have a clue what happened last night...crazy...but if you saw the date on Claire's ultrasound the day she landed in LA it was October 22, 04 but the plane crashed on September 22, 04??? wierd...also does anyone else think Claire has gone a little crazy Rousseau on us? I'm sure she set the traps that kate/miles and the others stumbled upon

I think the Others are thinking the same thing we are about Sayid but they are thinking it's the smoke monster not Jacob.

And wasn't this the first "sister" remark we've heard about Claire and Jack since they first told that twist? Odd it comes up now.....

Did anyone else find it strange that Kate just bats her eyes at a stranger and *poof* handcuffs are off? Although I guess that is Kate's MO -- bat eyes, get something...

I am still convinced Jacob is Bad and Flocke or MIB is the good guy.

I think this past episode answered the question that anyone who went into the water to be healed immediately does the bidding of the island. (ex. ben when he was a little boy, claire, etc) Claire is like Rosseau now she probably set the traps in the jungle.

Kate and Sawyer are DONE!

also i thought it was weird how Kate was having deja vu moments in the flashsideways..when she looked at jack when she was passing by him in the cab and her expression when she heard claire say the babies name was aaron

Considering I hate Kate, I thought the episode was pretty good... As good as a Kate centered episode can ever be for me....and maybe this means we won't have to suffer any more Kate episodes ever again???

I noticed that about Kate. The same thing happened to Jack in the last episode. When he saw Des, spoke with Rose, and I think when he saw Charlie too.

I think if there was any doubt in anyone's mind that Sayid is "not himself" anymore, it was confirmed in this show. He just doesn't look right. His expressions are different, just a bit "off", even the way he talks at times. Anyone else notice that???

I don't believe we saw Claire go into the water or be taken to the temple. But I'm glad someone else noticed that Sayid was off. I thought he looked ... wierd...but can't place why exactly, and his voice is also off. It'll be interesting to see what they do with him

You do not see Claire go into the water. However, when Dogen is explaining to Jack what happened to Sayid that he has been infected..he says the same thing happened to his "sister" aka Claire.

I am still convinced though that the others are bad!

what is everyone's theory on who adam and eve is?????

That's exactly what I thought! I kept saying to my husand "Don't you see it??? He just seems "off"! Listen to how he talks and look at his non-Sayid-like expressions." It will be interesting to see what happens next week.

I've always thought Adam and Eve were Rose and Bernard. I'm trying to remember why I've thought that. I get so confused with this show. I think it was when they went back in time and Rose and Bernard decided to live on the island by themselves rather than staying with the other Oceanic survivors because they were tired of all the drama. Didn't they build a little shack to live in? When we time jumped into the future, weren't Adam and Eve found in the same shack that Rose and Bernard were building, but now it was tumbled-down? I assumed they lived out their lives and died together in the shack.

I probably got all this wrong. This show befuddles me, but I enjoy it!

sensory overload this week my head still is hurting. After last weeks' so-so episode about Kate this one really blew me away.

I think i'll be rewatching it at least once before formulating any theories though - just soooooooooo much information. I've got to pause the DVR and really get a good look at that ceiling

Did you notice that kate didn't have one of the special numbers assigned to her. There are 6 numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42), and they showed them assigned to Jack, Sayid, Sawyer, Lock, Hurley and Either Sun or Jin. I wonder what happened to Kate? (she's not special anymore )

I am thinking that the other one to be a "candidate" is JIN.

That would make it an all MALE list - God knows that if the women were in charge none of this would have happened in the first place

kate is number 51 and was not crossed off the wheel..however locke was 4..but the title of the episode that focused on locke was called "the subsitute" make me wonder if he was never a candidate at all and was a substitute for kate?

i agree Dr. Linus was the best episode of the season.

in the Ben episode, ilana says (i think to sun) that there are only 6 candidates left...
since Ilana knows that locke is dead, which would eliminate him from the original 6 (of the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42), perhaps she's already including kate in the six she's talking about as being the only candidates left for her to protect....

Ok so if the numbers refer to people on the wheel, why were the numbers of those 6 key characters etched onto the hatch door (the one blown up where Desmond was working)?
Is that just coincidence or is it of significance? Sorry if I am missing something plain and obvious!
