How about a disney name. We called are cat Daisy! Mickey or Chip would be cute. But I also like Scamp. Lucky, Pongo, Little John I could go on and on but i'm sure you get the hint.

Yep, we've used Disney names too. Our 92lb labradoodle is named Dash. DS8 named him right after the summer The Incredibles came out. DD named our Wheaton that we had for a short while Belle. Unfortunately Belle and our matriarch Marlie (peke/spaniel) could not work out their differences and since she's an old girl now we thought it would be too unfair to have her golden years spent dealing with a little upstart who kept challenging her for her rank, so Belle returned to the breeder. DD6 has made me promise when Marlie goes to heaven that we can get another Belle. :sad1:

My very first dog, long before DH and kids came on the scene was an 8lb poodle terrier cross of some kind (not sure entirely since he was a rescue) and his name was Jasper (I'd just spent a few weeks out west), although I took to calling him Jippy Joy for some reason. I also like the name Rodeo (fave band is Blue Rodeo - I loves me some Jim Cuddy) and think it would be a great doggie name.

LOVE those pictures of the puppies. I can't wait to see more pix of him when you get him.

Update on the puppy. The breeder called yesterday and someone came and put deposits on the females and someone was coming to look at the males. Since we live at least 3 hours away and I keep my niece and nephew every 2nd weekend we were not able to go up and see the puppies to have first pick. My husband and I picked the puppy on the left in the picture and by promising the moon told her we would be up next Saturday to pay the deposit. So the puppy on the left will be our new addition in a months time. I will post pictures and a name on Saturday once we get back from seeing our puppy :lovestruc

HOW ABOUT ASKIM.. WHEN SOMEBODY ASKS HIS NAME JUST SAY ASKIM!LOL:rotfl2:

we had Askit growing up, our dogs have Disney names Jasmine our goldendoodle, Lily (walt's wife) our boston terrier and Mickey the english bulldog

we have a shepperad lab and named him Gambit from X-men what about atticus from to kill a mocking bird

My fil had a cocker spaniel named Askim - was funny to see everyone's face when they did the whole 'what's his name?' :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

We had an Old English Sheep Dog name "HeyYou". My Father would let it run around in the park next to our house jjust so he could call it and see how many heads would turn....

I think that "jack-jack" would be a great name...my parents are on their 3rd maltese cross and as pups they are quite bouncy little things...they currently have a maltipoo 7 months old named maggie...she is absolutely adorable! congrats on the addition to your family!

I've got a Westie named Brier, not after the curling, but after the ice cream...he's a devil, but I love him.

Just arrived home from Shediac and seeing our new puppy. He is beautiful!! :lovestruc
