OT-- Looking for advice from someone creative...

I make custom cakes for Birthday's, Anniversary's showers etc.. and I was going to put signs up in the neighborhood to advertise.. I am just getting started in this and I wanted to start selling them but my DH suggested that I refer people to a web site so they can see pictures of my work, but I am clueless as to what to call it.. I was thinking Kathleen's Kakes.. Custom cakes.. cakes by design.. I am clueless in a name.. is anyone creative out there that can help?! I am honestly stuck here.. I am also looking for a good priced web hosting serve as well.. does anyone have a web site that they like? I know that you can get a premium site with freewebs for 9.95 a month which is not bad but not sure of their type of service.

Thanks for any help you can give, I am honestly dumb in choosing a name... I can create a cake like it is nothing but don't ask me to come up with a name.. lol

The only thing with that name is that I eventually want to get into Wedding cakes and that name will limit me to kids cakes.

Hi Mousy --congrats on the new business

I think using your name in the new Company title is great --it helps your customers remember who they are dealing with .

I'd also try giving or donating a free cake to my kids school ---then maybe they would be willing to allow you to hand out some flyers. Your business will be well served if you can get customers by word of mouth.
