Hi. I just bought a nice chandelier type light for my scrapbook room today at Home Sense. It has a huge pink shade with cutout flowers and hanging clear beads Well the box was opened and it has no instructions to instull it.
It is a 20-25min drive and DH said no. So where can I find instructions?Would Home Hardware talk us through it if we took the peices in or where online?
Its made by Bel Air Lighting.:confused3

Lighting is pretty much the same. I would (during the day, of course) take out the old fixture (make note of the wires and how they are hooked up, take a picture even not a bad idea), and hook up the white wire to white, black to black, and the green is your ground (wind it around the green screw). You can learn a lot just by seeing what is going on with the old fixture. Take a picture with a digital in case it screws up, at least you can put the old one back on, worst case scenario.

Otherwise, I'd call the store and ask them to scan the instructions and email it to you.

I live out in the country, sometimes I hate living so far away from stores too!

Try finding the Bel Air Lighting website. You might be able to search for your product code and find it that way. This happened to us last year with an electric fireplace. It was late on a Friday night that we were setting it up ... found the manual online without a problem.

Good Luck. :)

But you skipped a crucial step, be sure to take out the fuse or flip the braker before doing any work on the lights. (Depending on how the house is wired, turning the light switch off is not always enough.)
