OT: Lego Toy Story sets

Just an FYI. I was at Toys R Us today and they had the new Lego Toy Story sets. They had Buzz, RC with Buzz and Woody, army men, a wild west town set and a spaceship. I ended up just getting the army men today, but may end up back there next week for some more. They are super cute.
They also had the new Atlantis sets and Ben 10 sets. All of these were listed to come out in 2010, so I was really surprised to see them already.

Target has them too!!! The RC set was 19.99, the Bzz set 29.99 and then army men set was 10.99

What a bummer. I just sent DH out to our TRU and while he is en route I called. They say they don't have them. I am calling around the area TRU's but so far no luck. I haven't tried Target yet as they aren't open yet. DS (and I) were so excited when we saw that these were coming. Now I guess I will be stuck calling every day to see if the come????

I saw only one kit online at TRU and it says sold out. Rats!!!!

Just a quick update - DH got the Toy Story legos at our TRU. What they said on the phone was wrong--they were all there!!!! Yea!!!! They even had new Space Police!!! Thanks for posting, OP! This will make a little guy awfully happy (he has a bday after Christmas too, so we are pretty well covered now)!

Gurnee, IL. I called Schaumberg - not in, also Highland Park - not in. Then again, Gurnee told me they weren't in either, but in Schaumberg and H.P. somebody actually went to the aisles to check. Good luck!!!

Yeah!! How cool and I wouldn't have been looking for these so soon! Now I'll have to keep DS away from the Lego aisle so I can check them out. People have seen them at Target too?

I checked at one of my Targets here in the Cincy area this morning and they had none in yet. I will probably check the other close-by Target on Monday and see if I have any luck there.

They had the new Toy Story sets at the Toys R Us in Westland, MI, as well as the new Atlantis, Space Police, Power Miners and Star Wars sets.

Toys "R" Us is inflating the retail prices of the Toy Story LEGO sets by 10%, so those looking for them, check Target first, it's cheaper.

I think Toys R Us sells most of their Lego sets a bit higher than most places. I usually don't buy them there unless they are exclusive, can't be found anywhere else, or they are running the buy 2 get one free sale.

Three more sets will go on sale in late spring (warning: these are based on Toy Story 3 and give away some new characters/scenes from the movie).

You can preorder Woody's Round-Up #7594 on amazon for $49.99 plus free super saver shipping, as well as the The Green Army Men set for $14.99. Both list a release of January 1.

Found 3 sets at Toys R US in Lexington, KY today.
Target had no Toy Story sets in stock, in fact, their entire toy department had been ravaged. They had a good selection of bathing suits though and flip flops though.

The sets were the buzz figure (26.99), spaceship (32.99), and Woodys sheriff office/jail (54.99). I used gift cards bought at Kroger and a 10 off 100 that was in the mail.

The kid will be thrilled as I would rather have the sets under the tree than a piece of paper stating they will come sometime later.
