OT last minute vacations

HI there, This isn't about Florida at all! I have that booked for March! We are wondering if there is any good websites for a last min carribean or bahamas vacation. Doesn't matter where, just we know we want to go somewhere fairly cheap for xmas break!~ So around the 28 or 29th til the 4th or 5 th!~ It has to be last minute deal. Is there anywhere you can suggest to look website wise, or anyone ever done last min like that at that time of year? It would be 2 adults, 2 kids under 12, and would just like some warm weather away from the snow. This would be part of the xmas present! Flying from Toronto, Buffalo, Rochester, Flint, Saginaw, Grand Rapids! Any and all help appreciated!

I used targetvacations.ca to snag a 399 per person to Mexico in January. That was 2 adults 2 kids. Worked well for me.

Halifax to Cancun direct. 4.5 star accom.

Booked it on a Tuesday ... flew on a Saturday. I've seen lots of deals.

Hope you find a deal for over the holidays, we've been looking all year hoping to leave on the 26th for a week or 2 and couldnt find anything so far - other than at premium price due to the holidays and i'm not willing to pay over $1000 more per person and get nothing extra for that other than huge crowds Not sure i could handle waiting that last minute but you never know....

In the mean time i booked 10 days in February........

I am not holding out any hope. If it is possible, and I can find the right price, I will be doing it! Our girls are 10 and soon to be 12, and I can't think of a single thing they "need" or really, really, want! I would rather spend my money on a family vacay! Especially when every year when we go to Florida right now, more and more and more of my family keep coming. I want to sneak away with my OWN family!

I do think last minute is the best deals, but i'm a planner by nature so not sure if my nerves could handle it but i do keep looking just in case..........

I am also a planner by nature so am having a hard time relinquishing that! Hoping it just falls into my lap! LOL I don't want to spend money on stuff that I don't need in my house! So trips work much better, with new bathing suits and summer clothes!!! Sounds good to me!

Not sure about where you live but ....we are in the GTA and the schools here are on Xmas break until Jan 8th. I think you have a hard time finding a good deal to travel south...that's what everyone will be doing.

We wanted to go away for Xmas this year...to get away from all the drama....but the prices are insane so far. Last year there were numerous good deals, even this early, for the actual week of Xmas. A friend of mine went last year for 10 days through Xmas and NY...she paid $1000/person for an all inclusive.

We too are going in March to Florida but I wanted to book for a warm beach vacation over the Christmas holidays too..

Well Tink I have your back if you have mine!LOL I think the cheapest place still going is Florida! My husband will freak if I tell him we are going to Florida in Jan and March! We are from Northern Ontario! The break is an odd one this year, to long after Xmas!

we watch itravel2000, westjet vacations all of those as I find sometimes the good deals dont come up on general sites.

Good luck I would love to go somewhere, but 2 trips already this year, its not going to happen!
