Ok, I screwed up. Just bought a new laptop on Boxing Day and what do I do? I pick it up by the screen and the twisting motion breaks the screen!
So, I'm driving home, stop in at the Belleville Future Shop and the guy tells me to order a new screen from screencountry.ca and have it shipped to my house, then take it to them for installation.
So, for you techies out there, is this something simple enough to do on my own? If not, does anybody know which store may do the installation cheaper than the $80-$100 that Future Shop will charge me?
Lately I'm on the road a lot so I can likely drive to someone who has good value.
Thanks!
