OT - Italian Charm Bracelets

I was just wondering if any one had seen the charms at the World recently. I thought about buying one, but I wanted to get Disney charms.

You can get them EVERYWHERE at Disney. I have a few from there.

Most of the charms for sale (a kiosk in Adventureland, Uptown Jewelers in MK and World of Disney is where I saw them) were the same ones I had seen on ebay for less. I wanted something unique, and that would remind me of our trip so I bought a flip flip with a Mickey ($5.00) and a trio with Mickey, Minnie and "Florida" ($9.00) at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom.

Can you also buy the bracelet there? I bet this is something my DD would love. She read that at WL you can make a charm bracelet and wanted to do that, but I thought the ones at WL were more "toy" than anything. Does anyone know if the ones at WL are "toys" or are they the real charms like you are talking about?

WDW sells the blank bracelets too. They also sell the fine charms with 14k or 18k gold, they're in the case at Uptown Jewelers for sure. I bought the less expensive ones off the spinning rack.

They have tons of them in a shop in Italy/World Showcase. The ones they carry are the Nomination brand and are very nice. I'd wanted one of these bracelets forever and went completely overboard there last year but I LOVE my bracelet. They have the starter bracelets and many many charms, some disney, soem not. Various prices, probably like everything else it's a little more expensive because you're buying in the park but I really haven't compared to know for sure. They'll put the charms on for you, show you how to do it, etc.

I have a bracelet that i started in june last year. I bought the blank bracelet and a few charms, then in sept i bought a few more. this year, i'll buy still more and finish it up!! then i'm sure my dd will want to start 1 this year..lol. i only buy em at the WOD 'cuz then i can sneak them in so DH wont complain about all the $ i spend LOL

If memory serves..the WL has a table with charms and beads and such to make a charm bracelet, but they are the kind that you can clip on and off yourself. They are more "cutesy" looking and they dangle off of the bracelet.
