OT iPhone 4S

Hi Lovelies

Just wondering if anyone's gotten this phone yet and if so would you mind putting a little feedback here? I have the 3G and can upgrade now since my contract is up in January. Is it a big step up from what I have or should i just stick with what I've got till Jan and revisit then? Also, can I just transfer my SIM card from my 3G to the new phone?

You don't transfer your SIM.
I received my new phone yesterday. I only had the Iphone 3, so I wanted to do the upgrade and was due for one. Mine still cost me $159.
I haven't figured out everything it does yet.

DD pre ordered hers from Bell and it was delivered last Thurs...she seems to love it. She had the 3 as well....3S I think she said?

She's like a kid in a candy store with this one. I have the regular old 4...lol...which suits me fine.

She loves Siri..though she is still limited especially with directions in Canada. Work in progress I am told...she likes facetime (which I have on my 4 too) and many more of the toys. She was due a hardware upgrade but hers was $259 I believe as she wanted 64GB? I think? I am not a techie can you tell?

I just did the same migration from a 3G to the 4s. I upgraded because I'd gotten the "your phone is too old for this app" message a few times.

In just a few days, I can say I'm very impressed with the new phone. It's faster by a long shot. Attachments in your email? One touch and you're reading it. I haven't played with the new features (like SIRI) much but just love how snappy it seems, and yes I can now run those apps my other phone couldn't.

If it's a price you can live with I'd say go for it!
