I currrently use Mary Kay and I am running out and I would like to find one that is comparable that will not break the bank.

So what do you use?

I have very sensitive skin and can only use Cetaphil. It's not drying at all so my skin doesn't feel tight after I wash.

Have you used the new Mary Kay cleanser? I love it, it foams really well so I use less than when I used the Timewise.

Neutrogena in the blue bottle is great. I just switched to it from Mary Kay and actually like it better.

I like purity from philosophy i use that some days and some days neutrogena cream cleanser with my clarisonic.

This! Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. Cheap, works great, recommended by all of my dermatologists so far and a number of fancy facialists, including my old Beverly Hills hair stylist's (who went to a way fancier one than I did!). You can try it and if you like it, they sell it in a 2 pack at Costco!

I love Purpose. My dermatologist recommended it to me and actually, many dermatologists do. It is pure, nothing irritating or comedogenic and you can get it at Target or Walmart for around $4.00 a bottle. My skin is very sensitive and it hasn't ever bothered me. The money I save on this, I spend on my face creams. The way the dermatologist explained it was don't spend a lot on something you wash right off. Spend it on the things that stay on your face. So, I do. ;)

great thread!! my skin after a major antibiotic allergic reaction has now become super sensitive something I never suffered with, all of my usual creams I would use now give me a reaction its been very frustrating its been almost a year and my skin will never be the same :( still looking for a cleanser and face cream as well and I also have a Clairosonic will be reading all posts for suggestions...

Is it a cleansing bar or cream?

Good advice! Never thought that way before but your doctor has a point!

I'd like to try a new moisturizer too! I was thinking oil of olay but I don't want any purfumes in my moisturizer! Or my cleanser for that matter!

L'Oreal foaming cleanser works great for me! Then I follow up with their toner. I'm always trying new things and these are ones I feel like I can stick with. :thumbsup2

I'm sorry that has happened to you! I hope you can find some good suggestions for products and that they work for you! I feel your frustration...

I have used Mary Kay since I was a teen and I have liked it! I just need a consultant and it seems like a hassle to order, wait for the order, etc... I'd like to just pop in a store and buy something.

Good luck and I pray for a good outcome for you!

2Tiggers awww thank you so much :flower3: yes its very frustrating and on top of it, it's super dry alot of good sugestions on here I will be buying and trying.

Another vote for Cetaphil here.

I have super dry skin, I used to use vaseline as a moisturizer when I used Clinique soap because it was so dry.

Now I use Cetaphil and I can use regular moisturizer, even in the winter.

Cetaphil comes in a bar or a liquid with a shower convenient pump. I use the liquid.

I have very sensitive combination skin that is prone to break-outs, and I use Philosophy Purity Made Simple, followed by Hope in a Jar moisturizer. It's the only thing that I have found that is gentle enough for my skin while still preventing breakouts.

I have never tried Cetaphil for myself, but when my son was a baby, his ped recommended it for his super-sensitive skin and it broke him out something awful.

Good luck with finding what works for you! HTH! :goodvibes
