This trip is to make up for not going on the Aug 18th cruise since going on the Med next year!

Yes, I've been fly-fluttering for a long time now. "Fallen off the wagon" so-to-speak & it shows. But I've re-started before successfully & I'll do it again at this Most Wonderful Time of The Year (think Staples commercial & sing-along!). But truly I wish I had learned her principles as a child. "You can do anything in 15 mins" has become my mantra to get me going & it's true, true, true.. The house has always been so much easier when I've been following the routine. Jump right in where they are (www.flylady.net) & remember it is the marathon cleaning sessions & thinking that burn you out. BABY STEPS!

SandraC, I don't know what age we have to get to before that childhood vision of a huge yawning summer with all its possibilities finally becomes in our brains the reality of 8 or 9 weeks that actually speed by for we busy parents! I said the same thing you did & have now one heck of a weekend to try to accomplish it all! I know I won't. Thanks to flylady though I do realize the error in my thinking & am not beating myself up about it! Hmmm, procrastination -- that's why I'm on The DIS checking out the Cdn board for first time in weeks! Sounds like a cult when I write it here, LOL! But truly, this lady has it right -- read her book "Sink Reflections" -- it will be worth the use of all that spare time we don't have! Her info has its roots in Sidetracked Sisters too if you're familiar with their thinking & plans. It all rang true for me & many others!

Ok. DD14 starts high school on Tuesday.We did a little today. But Tuesday is the start of Diet for me and a whole clean, organized,some painting house CLEAN SWEEP.I need more Disney music to help.
