:scared: Today I washed a load of clothes and did not find a tube of blistex my husband had in his pocket. Well, it got washed and dried and there are spots all over the clothes. I am hoping ther is some way of removing these??? Please, thanks for the help.

Not really sure, I've washed many tubes of blistex and never actually found any stains. Maybe washing the load again in warm or hot water so that the blistex might disolve out of the clothes. Just an idea. Personally, I would probably put either stain stick or Shout on them first. Good Luck!

I just did that with chapstick.
Spots all over the clothes. I cant get the spots out either.
Not only did they go though the wash but the dryer too so I think getting the spots out will be hard but I hope someone has a solution!

Well, I searched online and found that you can spray wd-40 on the spots. I just sprayed them and will rewash. Hopefully this works! I will keep everyone posted.

That should work, but make sure you wash them while the WD40 is still wet. if you let it dry you will just get a stain from the WD40 and will have to do it all over again.

Ok, the WD40 got the spots out. Now how do I get rid of the smell?:confused3 I have washed them 3 times and the last time was with baking soda.

The other thing you could try is Shampoo. I keep a bottle of cheapo shampoo in my laundry room and apply to those stains that look "oily". Works like a champ!

Dawn should nicely as well, should this ever happen to you again, or to anyone else. Simple Green, too, b/c both of them are degreasers.

Oh the things I learned about stains and detergents, cleansers, and soaps all thanks to cloth diapers! :)

Lestoil. Works on all greasy stains. Smells terrible, but washes out when you run it thru the washing machine. Also works on grass stains and crayon marks.

I keep a bottle in the house and treat the most terrible stains with it - those oily spots you never know where they come from but nothing else will work on removing them! SMELLS up the laundry room :)

I also keep a small bottle of Wisk for stain fighting. I will try the dawn as suggested above.

Wisk and Lestoil are staples for saving clothing.

Try baking soda. When we accidentally washed crayons with our childrens clothes, it always got the crayon stains out. The box may tell you how much to use for laundry, i have used at least a 1/2 box or so in the past, it can't hurt to try. I think we have also gotten out lipstick stains with it.

I will have to remember this as I washed and dryed chapstick and had a huge stain on my DCL jacket and could never get the stain out.
