OT - How crap is the new Qantas ad

The title of this thread says it all really !

I am so disappointed they are not using "I still call Australia home " always puts a lump in my heart when I saw those old ads - especially coming home after a trip.

I think I will put it on my iphone and put it on whenever I see that ad. It looks like the people are looking up at a plane that is flying too low and about to crash.

I dont have a lot of faith in the future of Qantas - this is not helping!!!!

omg. it is crap.

it looks like an ad for a government service... or one of those óur car is awesome' ads. not an add for qantas.

i don't fly qantas, but i still liked their ads.

not so much now.

I haven't seen it. But talk about crap ad's. I saw a carefree ad today and i was typing on the computer and heard it I looked up to see my son turning to look at me chucking saying, "that's a bit rude".

It is not an appropriate ad to have on tv when kids will be watching!

I'm just continually thankful we don't have the drug ads they have in the US. They make ours seem a blessing...
It's a wonder Yanks have any prescription meds given every advert says....but you could die if you take it....in it

Yes it's rather wishy washy nothing although they do have a good competition to win 500000 ff points if you want your name on one of their planes....I could and did stoop so low to enter.....such a loyal Qantas lad

On the us drug ads I thought they were fun to watch after all we got to watch on our Disney trips was the Disney channel ( we don't have it at home)....agh the land of the self medicated......always makes me great full we have Medicare in oz and can afford a doctor instead of self diagnosing

lol.. when i was laid up in nyc for 2 days straight, just watching local tv & the law & order channel (seems it played law & order re-runs 24/7), every 2nd ad was for some kind of medication...

side effects include, heart attack, stroke, death, death-like symptoms etc.

Only in America.

Qantas must have rocks in their head if they have dumped the iconic 'I Still Call Australia Home' song.

The new Qantas ad features a piece of music titled "Atlas" and was written by Daniel Johns from Silverchair.

I don't know why they changed it..............yuck!!!
