OT:How about a Zhu Zhu spotting thread?

Has anyone looked on ebay at all of the cute sleeping bags that people are making and selling for the zhu zhu hamsters. They are actually pretty reasonable. I think that they are cuter than the ones that you can buy in store. Good Luck looking.

We have Zhu Zhu pets!!!!! Well, one anyway. My father's best friend has been looking for one for his granddaughter (bad situation-his daughter is in a halfway house in another state, child misses her mother so bad, so I've been on the hunt for them!). I called my father last night and told him about the TRU email, but told them it would probably be a madhouse. He just called-they just breezed into the store at 8am, asked for them, and had to go to one register to get a ticket another to pick up the pets, then another to pay! And they were the only ones in the store! They only got one each (one for the other girl, and one for dd10), but that is ok! I have seen the accessories around, but no hamsters. I can give that to her, then we can probably pick up the accessories after Christmas. I'm just so glad the friend's granddaughter is getting her wish!

This store (central MS) got in 68, and still had 60 left!

This is the 2nd time I checked when I saw a post like this and I just missed the deal!! I mean I literally miss the deal by minutes. So bummed! But thanks for posting the update -- one of these times I will get lucky.

If you sign up for their rewards cards you should receive the emails. I went to 2 TRU stores today in Salt Lake and none had any accessories I just need the garage and slide.

Went to TRU this morning and got 2 hamsters yellow and grey they had the white one but we were one person short. They had no accesories.

Thanks for the heads up! I am in Indianapolis and I went to TRU at 6:30. Our location had gobs of accessories as well as a pet for the first 50 people. I had never seen an accessory before so I was too excited for words! We did have to limit ourselves to four.

The manager at this location said that lots more accessories should be hitting the shelves before Christmas.

Which TRU?? We're closest to Castleton, but would drive anywhere else. Of course, I doubt that they'd have anything left...but who knows

I was just there at 11am. I was buying some stuff and one of the cashiers brought out some boxes with the pets.

I'll be going tomorrow first thing. I'm in San Diego area. Mom is also going, she's in the phoenix area. This is TOP thing for my DD, so I'm really hoping. I'll let you know if I get one!

Between all the people I had working on it we got 5. One of each color and an extra for my niece. Took two stores an hour apart in So.Cal, but we did it. My mom was in line in Phoenix at 5am and there were 200 people in line. Only accessory anywhere we went was the sleeping bags.

As soon as I saw this message, I left my Sears Tower office and headed right to CVS! I got the white, the brown and the gray hampster (I already had the yellow one). Plus I got the car, the wheel and the slide!!!
They still had a wheel, 2 slides and one of each hampster left if anyone is around that CVS and still in need. They are on the counter next to the registers. Hampsters were 9.99 and the slides etc were 17.99.

I got them in South Jersey (woodbury NJ) CVS last week. They said they are getting more. Some maybe call the CVS near you and see if they can tell you when they are getting them.

They had all four hamsters, garages, beds, and wheels at the CVS on Lehigh Street in Allentown today. They had a sign saying limit two per customer, but I wasn't sure if that was two hamsters and two accessories or what. I got two accessories and a hamster and they didnt' say anything.
