OT: Horseshoe Valley

So I'm heading up there this weekend (using a friend's timeshare). I know there is really not that much in the immediate area save for golfing (and I don't golf) so I'm looking for recommendations.

Likely we will go to Wasaga Beach for a day, and hit up Blue Mountain/Collingwood as well.

Also food - we're going to buy some stuff in Barrie to cook but that won't happen every day, so recommendations there would be great as well.

I'm here now. Went to Wasaga Beach for a bit. Kids are chilling at the kids activity centre at the resort (Carriage Hills)
