Hello
I am a kdgn teacher and have volunteered my services to create the slideshow we will play at our Kdgn Celebration in June. Last year I had a parent help me on her own computer (a friend) and she did most of the loading of photos into their Power Point. They have this program on their computer as her dh is a doctor and uses it for work presentations. I can't copy it to my computer as then it would be only a 'read only' and I suppose that would be illegal anyways
.
So anyways ... I guess my question is if anyone has Power Point on their computer? How do I obtain a copy of this? When I went to the microsoft website it says you can have a free 60 day trial, but when I clicked on it, it takes me to Microsoft Office. I'm not the most computer "talented" person, but do "ok". Is Power point in Microsoft Office? Anyone know of any other way to create a DVD slideshow of photos without investing in an expensive program? Our school has Power Point as well, but I don't know if it is licensed to be brought to home computers. I wouldn't be able to do it at school as I would spend AGES copying stuff!! I'd like to do it at home.
Ok ... this turned out to be very longwinded, but I'd really like to start working on it now, as opposed to the week of the assembly (like we did last year
)!!!
Thanks for your help ...
Kerri
