We will be going to Sesame Place mid-week and wondering if anyone has info on hotels near Sesame Place. I looked online on sesame place.com and than went to tripadvisor.com and it seems that the reviews are very mixed.......Please help! Thanks! :)

I think we stayed at the Raddison. The room was fine, we only slept there one night. We were right near a door to our wing of the hotel, so it was noisy, but clean. I know it was cheaper to book through the hotel than it was to go through the sesame vacations. We bought our tickets separately.

We stayed at the courtyard marriott last june and it is fantastic - Breakfast is included and it is VERY convenient to Seasme Place.

I am not sure about hotels in Langhorne, but Philadelphia is a short drive away from Sesame place. There are tons of hotels in the city from $ to $$$$. There are also lot's of educational and FREE things to do in the city. Independence Mall, The Constitution Center, The Franklin Mint, Betsy Ross House. ...and our zoo is great, it's the oldest in the nation. There are lots of internet specials and packages on www.gophila.com

We went this year in June and stayed at Sheraton hotel just accross of the stree of Sesame place. The hotel is nice and clean but the internet price is even $150+tax with extra charge for parking in their parking lot. I can't comment on other hotel but most of them are also close to the park. Sheraton is not the only choice when you want to stay close to park. If other hotels offer cheaper rate or free breakfast, I would suggest to go there. Sheraton is great but since other hotels are not that far off, price would determine for you. But I recommend one thing, try to park in the preferred parking. We have a 2 years old and parking the preferred parking (right in front of the gate) allow us to get things from the car - extra clothes, snacks without walking too far in the heat. Food in the park were expensive and no way near the quality or varity Disney offers. Have fun!

There is a Raddison, Macintosh and a Sheraton, within a mile of Sesame.... there is also a Red Roof Inn(but that tends to be a party place-I suggest avoiding there)
there is also a Courtyard which is I think the newest(a few years old) My only advice is to stay away from anything in bristol on route 13.... (you can also try Bensalem which has about 10+ places to choose from and that is like a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic)

I agree with the food...we go to sesame about 15+ times a year.....we eat there once and then remeber why we don't eat there....

We've gone a couple of times and stay in Mt. Laurel, NJ b/c we are broke. We travel about 30 min to get to the park, no real traffic if you leave bright and early, plus we save a bundle. Hotels are about $70/night, IIRC.

We've stayed at a fairly cheap but decent Days Inn in Bristol, about 10 minutes from Sesame Place.

Hi! We have stayed in various hotels during our stays at Sesame Place. One of our favorites is the Best Western on Roosevelt Blvd. The rooms are fairly large, and they have a pool and continental breakfast. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to Sesame. We stayed at Knights Inn on Rt. 1 this year...and it was just OK. We have also stayed at the Holiday Inn on Street Road, and wouldn't recommend it.

The hotels right on Oxford Valley Rd. are nice, but pricey. The Marriot (?) has free shuttles to the park. I think the Red Roof Inn was the least expensive of the closest hotels.

Have fun!!

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn about 10 mins. away. They usually run a package that includes the room and tickets to Sesame Place. The hotel was very nice and had a great heated indoor pool - you would think the kids would be tired of the water after spending the day at Sesame Place - but since the park closed early we would go back and take a nice leisurely swim before bed!

Thanks everyone!!! I checked out many different hotels/many sold out for our date! I ended up booking the Ramada at levittown-supposed to be 5 miles to the park. Think I got a great deal - 1 night hotel, 2 - 2 day Elmo passports, Ride Again voucher per person, Meet and greet w/Grover (anyone know does this include a picture??), free continental breakfast and each evening will be live entertainment in lobby for kiddies!! package price is $184 including tax! If anyone wants the 800 number let me know! (much cheaper than booking direct w/hotel) :teeth:

I was going to recommend the Ramada Levittown! We have stayed there twice and it has been good both times. To me, it is like a Disney hotel- how much will you actually be there? It is one exit from the park and was clean and a nice place to stay, without costing a fortune.

Have a great trip!

Those 2 day elmo passes are $42 each (and no discounts available, I hear), so that sounds good!

Thank you!!! We leave tomorrow morning!!! My youngest is sooooo excited to meet Elmo! Glad you liked the Ramada!!! :)

We stayed in the Springhill suites (I think it was in Langhorne) last August. It was a nice hotel - drive was not bad at all -

It was about 120.00 for one night - we only stayed two nights and went to the park one day... we are Busch Gardens annual passholders so it did not cost us anythign additional - however I would NEVER pay to go there again... once is enough for us - nothing compares to DISNEY!
