OT Help needed from my British friends :)

My husband is traveling to London for work and we want to tag along! He will need to be at the Ministry of Defense each day, so I am trying to find a kid-friendly apartment within walking distance or close enough to a convenient Tube stop. Any recommendations for specific areas to look? This happens to be the week after our Disney trip. What an exciting month!
