Hi, I just thought I'd ask any of you Hawaii travelers if the ABC Stores in Waikiki sell soymilk (preferably vanilla flavor)? We'll be traveling there in a few months and my son is allergic to milk.
Thanks for the help!

I don't recall seeing any--but there is a regular grocery store in Waikiki (it was walking distance from our hotel when we stayed there). They should at least have it.

Sorry-I don't recall the name of the store--but it is the chain of groceries found on the island. Should be VERY easy to get to from most any hotel in Waikiki. Walking distance may vary.

I believe you are talking about Foodland. There is a location in Waikiki as well as one in the Ala Moana Shopping center.

Maybe call ABC stores to see about the soymilk. www.abcstores.com

Have a wonderful time in Hawaii :sunny:

Yes, there's Foodland with a limited selection of stuff like soymilk.

There is also Down to Earth Natural Foods with a location on S King Street somewhat near Waikiki which has much more variety. There is a restaurant, too. I think they've been there since the late 70s when I was a child. Here is their website: www.planetveggie.com or www.downtoearth.org .

Hope this helps.. :wizard:

Now that would have been some nice info for that last trip. Thanks for the link :)

(And yes, foodland was what I was thinking of :)).
