We just went to this on Monday and, if you have an HP fan in your house, this is definitely a must-do. It was better than I expected but it only made me want to go to WW of HP at Universal even more. They have a ton of props from the movies. I don't want to give too much away but my dd (huge HP fan)'s favourite items were the candies from Honeydukes, including the 'puking pastilles', and the dress with earrings that Hermione wore to the Yule Ball in the Goblet of Fire. Beware, they have an HP gift shop set up and it is not cheap.

Thanks for the review. Sounds like a great exhibit.

So what is the least expensive way to do OSC and Harry Potter exhibit?

With the coupons (ontario fun pass 2010 - given by the Ontario government) that you get from schools (pay for an adult and get one kid free), even with two coupons you pay for the adults to get in to OSC . And then on top of that you must buy two adult and two kids for the HP exhibit. Works out to be $101 plus tax.

By simply buying (no school coupons) the combo ticket from the OSC (OSC and HP exhibit) it still works out to $95 plus tax for two adults and two kids.

Any ideas on how to do both the OSC and the HP exhibit a little cheaper?

thank you

How long is the exhibit on for? My DD has just recently really gotten into HP. I'm sure she would love to go and I'm attempting to do more this summer.

The Harry Potter exhibition is on until August 22nd. As for the cheapest method ... we're members so we get discount on HP tickets, 20% off food, and half-price parking. If you plan to go every year, it might be worthwhile to price out membership. Otherwise, you can get regular entrance tickets through airmiles (giv 1-2 weeks for delivery), and you can get discounts at the ticket counter if you show your CAA card.

I don't actually find the fun passes that good since you have to pay full-price for adults and they're usually discounts around.

We just paid the $95. I was going to call about the fun pass til I realized it wasn't good til next week. On weekend evenings in the summer you can get just Harry Potter passes, if you don't want to do the OSC but it's not that much cheaper.

I think you are visiting Sudbury as well so an annual basic family membership could be an option. It's $120 (should be able to find $20 discount) and HP will be another $50 ($15 adult/$10 child) but no IMAX (which you get with the $95 combo). Membership includes admission to 300 other science centres including Science North (Sudbury), Orlando Science Center, one in Tampa, etc (we used it at the GEO Centre in St. John's, NL and plan to visit Montreal Science Centre this summer so it's been well worth it).

Our next Florida vacation involves SeaWorld/Aquatica/Busch Gardens length of stay passes and science centers to keep costs under control.
