OT- Hampton Inn

Has anyone ever booked a hotel that was priced at 1 person per room? I was booking a Hampton Inn in Myrtle Beach and they wanted to charge $10. extra for the second person. Any room that I have ever booked was based on 2 people and some at 1-4 per room. I contacted Hilton about this but have yet to recieve a response.

Maybe it is due to the breakfast buffet? I have had that happen to me locally and that is what I was told.
