OT Good Shopping near Sandusky Ohio

We live in Novi, MI and we have TONS of shopping and a Trader Joe's. We're about 30-40 minutes west of the bridge/tunnel (without traffic). If you come here first, you can take I96 to get here and then take I275 to I75 to Toeldo and on to Sandusky. We have just about every store (though no outlet mall) and Nordstroms doesn't open till fall. But we have TJ Maxx, Old Navy etc. type discount stores and a very nice mall called 12 Oaks (with Build a Bear). Also, about 5 minutes away is another nice mall called Laurel Park. I think we're about 2-2 1/2 hours from Sandusky. Not sure but we're going to Kalahari next week for the first time. If you have other questions about the area and what stores we have, let me know. Novi is closer to the bridge/tunnel than Ann Arbor so you might save some time here. Happy shopping!!

Thanks for everyones replies, we had a great time!!! Kalahari was great, my kids loved it, the water park was perfect for them they could go on everything. I do agree that the water and air temperature were a little cooler then I would like but that didn't affect the kids. I had a great package that included most of our food as well as mini-put & arcade tokens, the only think we ended up spending extra money on where some adult drinks at the pool.

I ended up doing most of my shopping at the Dillards at Franklin Mall in Toledo. I did very well at their 75% off sale, Dh & I restocked our wadrobes as well as stocked up for the kids for next year. We also stopped at the Great Lakes Crossing in Michigan but I didn't find the sales their very good, I did get some jeans and shirts at Osh Kosh. We went to the Traders Joe's in Farmington Hill.

Thanks for everyones suggestions, you are all lucky to live in an area with such great shopping. For the last few years we have been doing most of our cross border shopping in New York State and I forgot how great the shopping is in Michigan and Ohio.

Glad you had a good time in our neck of the woods. I definitely take for granted what good shopping we have in the area--well I guess I would if I actually liked shopping:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Reading your post reminds me of exactly why my wife takes 4-5 hours "just to pick up a couple things":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
