I'm getting all freaked out because Amy has to go in for a big surgery Monday. She will be in four to five days and I'm starting to get all nervous. I know it's all routine but it's not helping.
I guess it's all from when my dad went for a gall bladder removal, they opened him up and closed him just as fast, full of cancer :sad2: :sad1: .

Sorry, just ranting to the world.

Chris.

 Amy will be fine!!:goodvibes

Sorry to read about your father's outcome with his surgery. I can understand why you would be worried again. You have to stay positive though and think good thoughts. If Amy sees you worry, then it might add to her stress. Good thoughts, good thoughts, and we will send lots of good thoughts your way. Let us know how it goes and take care of yourself as well.

You have to think positive. You don't want to make your self sick too. Amy will need you when she is going through recovery. Wishing you both all the best. :grouphug:

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I know I`m over reacting but I can`t help myself:headache: .

Save your energy - worrying and fretting doesn't do anyone any good. I know. I have had many procedures, including my gall bladder, 6 weeks after we were married and I was 25yrs old. I've even faced cancer 3 yrs ago.

DH called me zipper girl at one point. He motto is "it's nothing until it's something" and I've done well by those words.
Stay positive!

((((HUGS)))) to both of you Chris. Amy will be fine, and you don't want her getting worried or upset, too! Good luck!

Thinking of you today Chris.. I hope she gets out of the hospital soon and is home with you where she belongs.

Hey Chris:

We're all waiting and watching... but we all know everything will be just fine!!!
:goodvibes

You know this is pretty wild to me. Once again Thank You everyone for the well wishes. She came through with flying colours but I can't say the same for me.

I lost it today and had to apologize profusely to a poor nurse. A little history, we have been trying for kids as long as I can remember and things have gotten so bad for Amy she needed a hysterectomy. Hence today's operation. This weekend the reality of it hit her hard.

When they tell me I could go see her I go to her room. I go there and where did they put her? In the maternity ward:scared1: :scared1: .Needless to say I lost it at the nurses station. To all the nurses out there I am truly sorry for having to put up with people like me.

So with the help of my mother in-law I calmed down a wee bit, even though I was a being an idiot the nurse understood my concerns (with a very straight face even though I'm sure she wanted to slap me up side the head ;) ) and would try to have her moved.

I feel like such an idiot but I guess all the years of frustration got to me with everyone all around me having the best day of their lives. No excuses I was sooooo wrong but the light of my life is going to be OK, I gotta be happy about that.

Now I have to go buy some flowers for a nice lady.

Oh No!! You know what - I'm sure a lot of other men would have reacted like that too. Eitherway, glad Amy is doing well.

Hugs to you.

((hugs)) I am so sorry for how today went for you, I am glad Amy is going to recover fine.
Thinking of you tonight as you go back to visit her.

On a different note.. I am sure I ran into you in Orlando and did not clue into the fact until after I left the store that you could have been THAT Chris with Amy.. did I talk to you in the Nike store? I was talking to a Canadian guy who was waiting for his wife Amy who was in the change room about exchange rates and the canadian money verses the American money.. any way if that was you it was nice to "see" you... if it wasn't you there was somewhere there from Ontario who's name was Chris and wife's name was Amy.

Sorry to go off topic, I am thinking of you guys tonight!
