Good morning everyone!! It's very overcast out there. Am wondering whether it's gonna rain soon. Hope not coz we have to go to Tesco's!

I can't believe I haven't been to DLRP since last month! At least I am going next month.

I can finally say "we're going NEXT month" too... woohooo!! Have just read your restaurant reviews. I sooo cannot wait for Inventions now (we're there on our 1st evening). All the food's so nicely laid out too!

Bob :: your Halloween party pics are great. Cool costumes too. Looks like all of you had a fab time!

Have a great day everyone!

So what does everyone have planned for today? Besides my shopping I need to finish doing the laundry from yesterday, then put some of it straight back into the suitcase!! I guess I should do some school work too as I won't be able to tomorrow as we are going to Southend for my nephews baptism.

We're off to Tesco's as soon as DH is ready. The kids & I are dressed and changing bag's packed (just need shoes & coats on) - funny how he's always the last seeing as he's only got to get himself ready. Another 20 mins I reckon. Other than that, nothing else planned. It's going to rain today (hopefully later though lol), so can't do anything outdoor-sy.

We'll be there at the same time. :thumbsup2

Mine always says " I'll get ready last as it doesn't take me long" Always takes an age to be ready

Morning Diane. Are you feeling better now?

Yes thank you, have a tickly cough though but thankfully I feel a lot better for our trip to Chester tomorrow for DD1 birthday. Got to make it extra special as her 'thoughtful' BF decided to finish the relationship this morning, just a couple of hours before she was due to meet him in Manchester. I won't print what I actually think!!

Oh dear  for your DD.

What are you planning to do in Chester?

Oh Diane, what a stinker

 for your DD, hope you have a lovely day in Chester.

SHOP!!!
It's something we've always done the nearest weekend to a birthday, have birthday money and go to Chester to spend it. We have lunch out and then shop till we drop! We all just love the place and we haven't been since June as for DD2 birthday we celebrated it a few days earlier in DLP.
I'm just looking forward to being in something DISNEY again!

DH had to drag me out of the Disney store last weekend when we were in Cambridge. He commented about the fact it used to be DD we had to drag out but Id become worse. :rotfl:

Morning all!!

Yes Elaine, there is LOADS of food left! No more of my spicy 'slaw (Everyone demolished that!) but we have loads of everything else left! Plus cocktail stuff! We should have a DIS party later to finish it all!

Thanks btw..... I think it was great fun and everyone got in the spirit of things! I personally think Robert had the best costume though (Although I am biased!)....

I have some words to describe him, but I may get kicked off the DIS for using them!! Your poor DD.... Hope she's okay..... If he's that insensitive she's probably better off!

Just been on the phone with DLP for prices for next July. I've been quoted £4214 for 9 nights 10 days at the Hotel New York and £3526 for the same at Sequoia Lodge. That is without the VEA transfer (but includes insurance, park tickets, breakfast etc.,) as after the problems we had this year I'd rather find another way of getting from the airport - if we do decide to go with VEA it's an extra £104 for the round trip. He confirmed that if I was a shareholder I'd get 10% off the price not including the air fare. I think I may just do it!!!

I didn't get a good look in the Disney Store yesterday.... :sad2: Too busy. Having said that, I noticed Robert had been so I must be getting something Disneyish for Christmas!

Yes four adults, £881.50 each (Sequoia Lodge) against £803.50 each for Newport Bay this year.
Thankfully I only have to pay for myself and DS, the girls pay for themselves as they work full time.
It's my BIG birthday next year and I desperately want to spend it in Disneyland!

I think thats really good for 9 nights!

I'm coming round to that way of thinking as well. It could be that we decide to go for less time, but this year I think spoilt us having that extra time (especially with the parks being really busy) and we do want to head into Paris again without thinking it's 'eating' into our Disney time.
I feel a family discussion coming on!!
The very nice man on the phone did say the advantage to booking now was that we would secure the air fare at the current price just in case it went up.
