I've only recently started being asked for ID... It's frustrating when I'm buying alcohol because it's never for me!

Well we were in tesco's the other day and Matt brought some beers(only four bottles) and we went through the self checkout bit.. so the woman came over.. he showed his ID and then told him it didnt look like him and he said well that picture was taken 6yrs ago. So she hummm'ed and then said ok and went to walk off and then came back and asked me for ID... even thought Matt had paid for it. I just tought that was soo silly....i would have understood if there was a group of us and lots of drink...

We (well I) lost 4 of Kacee's Christmas presents last year and found them in the cupboard under the stairs while looking for his birthday presents (March)

I'd stay away from a donation, I can imagine the reaction on people's faces when they open thier card saying 'a donation has been made in your name....'

My friend gave everyone a packet of Polo Mints

I'd also say to stay away from Polo Mints too, they went down like a lead balloon

I got ID'd for a pack of ciggarettes the other day. I nearly died of embarrassment. First time I've been ID'd since Vegas in 2006!

Jack and I got ID'd in Sainsbury's the other day for buy a bottle of magners. Now I could kinda understand it if we were buying ONLY a bottle of magners, but it was in with a £80 shop.

Would I really spend £78 just to try and sneak in one bottle of cider?

I jsut always think, "you can see me cars keys, I've given you a credit card and a nectar card (can't get nectar under 18), I'm buying cleaning products and cat food. I am SOOOO a deliquent!"

It's not really that far away now we have a date.... We only got onto the subject because I'm asking my friend if she'll be my maid of honour tomorrow, and then I'm asking my friends to be bridesmaids at Christmas. I mentioned how Robert's asking his best man and ushers soon, and then she asked who I wanted to give me away. Now, I only have two uncles so its hard to pick. A while ago, I just mentioned as a passing thought that Robert's Dad could give me away maybe, and she went light. We've basically been arguing about how it isn't her choice to make.... She keeps saying she'll do it, but I don't want her to.... It's just upsetting.

I wouldn't care, I wouldn't really want Robert's Dad to do it, I just don't want her feeling like she can pick and choose bits of the wedding.... I would like one of my uncles to do it, but I feel mean picking!
