OT- Downtown Toronto Intercontinental or Novotel?

Which one should we book for the end of June (Canada Day weekend)
for my family including DDs 8 and 11?

I can get them both for about the same price ($150/nt). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know about the intercontinental, but if you do decide to go with the novotel just be careful in their parking lot. It is not secure. We had our van windows smashed in when we stayed there. And it wasn't a big surprise to the management. DH refuses to stay there ever again.

The hotel itself was alright. I really liked the location.

I just stayed at the intercontinental last week. Elegant hotel. Well appointed rooms. I would not hesitate to book again. Great location walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.
