As I was at my DD's school today helping out I get a phone call from my Dr. telling me that I have type 2 diabetes..OK yeah and so that sent me into an emotional roller coaster (her teacher said I was as white as a sheet). So I got over that and he says he is gonna call me in a RX for Glucophage. Well I took one at 4 pm and I am sooooo sick to my stomach right now...IS it the medicine ..am I just nervous or stressed or WHAT??? If this is gonna make me feel like this every day I cannot do this...Also do I need to have a very strict diet and do I need to start testing my BS levels everyday again. He really didn't tell me much at all.
I had gestational diabetes with my second pregnancy and I have always had this gut feeling that I would be the one out of the 60% that would get it back and sure as snot I did. Man the LUCK I have!!!
Any way if someone can give me some insight on this and make me feel better about this I would appreciate it.

) I found lots of information on line to go along with her education classes. Read everything you can get your hands on and research to answer any questions you can think of. So far she has been able to keep it under control with out meds but hers tends to be low and not high.
