I was out in Lancaster, PA several weeks ago and I saw that Disney is opening an outlet store in Rockvale. :cool1: Does anybody know when it is going to open? I was thinking out making another trip but I could hold off if it is soon going to open.

Where did you see that? I haven't heard anything. But, I may just ride over there tomorrow or Wednesday to see whats going on.

Yeah, hubby and I usually plan a trip there at least once a year, this would be that extra bonus for the trip.
We have shopped in the Disney outlet in Seveirville/Pigeon Forge, TN and loved it, now to have one in Lancaster, yes, way to go Rockvale!!!!

Sweet! We usually go to Lancaster 3-4 times a year. I can see that moving up to at least 5 or 6 if there's a Disney outlet!

Might be worth a drive down. I love Lancaster as it is, now a Disney Outlet makes it that much better!

OT: I see a fellow Nittany Lions country person here. Though I'm one of the very few in the area who could care less about football.

I was in the Gold Toe sock store (next to the "coming soon" Disney outlet) earlier this month and saw the sign for the outlet store - did the happy dance:woohoo: The clerk in Gold Toe told me that she was told the Disney store should open end of this month.

YEAH!!! I didn't know. Now we have Park City DS and now the outlet down the road. Humm, what is the web site for Rockvale???

I was at Rockvale today and the signs said: Disney Outlet Coming Soon

There were no dates on the windows.

They called back and left a message. The store is in building #17, between Secret Sneaker and Helly Hansen. She told me they don't have a definite opening date but that it is sometime soon.

Ohhh cool!!! I must have missed the sign last time I was there! I live about 15 minutes from those outlets :)

I saw a flyer that there is a store opening in the Hershey Outlets too. I haven't seen any signs in windows but it has been about a month since I've been at the outlets.

Oh my gosh - one in Hershey too. I will have to find more reasons to visit Lancaster/Hershey - as if there is not enough reasons already. I love Lancaster with the amish furniture and crafts and the outlets. But with the Disney outlet that will be an added bonus. Oh how I wish I loved near York, PA again. I would be at the outlets all the time with a Disney store.

I was at the Helly Hansen outlet in Rockvale last month and the Disney outlet will be right next door. I think it used to be a Burlington clothing outlet which had lots of cheap clothes. When I was there the store was empty but did have a "Coming Soon" sign in the window.
As to the exact location, there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant that fronts Rte. 30. Behind it is a row of stores that includes the Pottery Barn outlet. Go past the Pottery Barn and you will come to the second row of stores. The Disney outlet is in this group about three or four stores up on your right.
The Helly Hansen outlet has great prices on outerwear and shoes. Their merchandise is carried in a gift shop in the Norway pavilion in EPCOT. I just bought $200 winter jackets there last month for $45.
For those of you that like QVC, they have an outlet store here too. They have very good prices on jewelry, clothing and Dooney and Bourke handbags.
My DD attends F&M College in Lancaster so I am at Rockvale quite a bit. I usually drive right by the Tanger outlets and head to Rockvale. Hate that Tanger parking lot!

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea what Helly Hansen was when I received the message earlier today. And I couldn't agree more about Tanger's parking. A nightmare! We were out there a couple times at Christmas last year. We were only in the Fossil outlet for about 20 minutes and came out to find someone had sideswiped our car. And they were long gone.

LOL, you are not missing much. It's boring here.:rotfl:

Disney Outlet still not open - drove by today. No signs on the windows with an Opening Date but there are workers inside working on the interior - no shelving, carpet or anything on the wall yet - just a blank shell.
