Hello :)

Wondered if anyone has one of these and if you like it? How do they work? If I got one for my parents or my in-laws do I load it ahead of time??? How do they change the pictures if they want different ones? Does it connect to the computer? Is one brand better than an another? Things I should look for?

Ok ... that was a lot of questions!!! I'd like some opinions on these things before I actually get them one!

Thank you ...
Kerri

The one that I bought had a memory card slot (I think they all have a memory card slot), some also have a USB slot.

YOu load the memory card or USB stick, plug the card or stick into the frame, turn it on & away you go.

The one I bought for my dad had a menu that you had some settings to adjust but you were pretty much ready to go.

good luck

I just bought a Kodak digital frame for my parents (x-mas gift). The one I bought takes every type of memory card (also has limited built in memory) plus has USB slots. It connects to the computer as well, so you can load pictures that way too.
The best part is that it has wifi, so it can stream pictures from either your computer or the internet (using the free kodak web site). You have to have a wireless network to use the wifi, but I figure it will be handy because I can upload my pictures to my account on the kodak site, then "share" them with my parent's frame. They will automatically download to the frame, my parents don't have to do anything. I tested it all out a few weeks ago, works like a charm! The hardest part will be setting up the wireless network for my parents, but that is my husband's job. :thumbsup2

I bought one for my in-laws last year, and they love.
They just stick the memory card in and use the remote control to flip through the photos.
