OT: Devil in the White City

Was just confirming that my daughter didn't have any reading assinged for the summer and noticed that the local high school had assigned Devil in the White City to the incoming Freshman AP English Class. Thought that was interesting since Kevin had talked about it.

Really can't believe that one more year and that will be my daughter. Sheesh...when did I get so old?

It is a very good book and it will put some fear into her about strangers and talking to strange guys. One character in the book is a very charming serial killer.

I have never heard of this book before, but my focus is more so on children and young adolescent lit.
