Ot- Computer Question

So this am I get onto my computer and everything is really really tiny! Even with my new glasses, really tiny.

On my desktop all my icons are small and in the top right hand corner, my msn is really small as well. Even the disboards all the type etc is sooo small, but the screen is at full size. What happened? I do not know how to fix this.

Can someone help??

If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, hold down the "shift" key and turn the scroll wheel at the same time. One direction will make it bigger, turn the other way to make it smaller. If not I will help you go into the control panel to fix it. OKay?

Hmmm. tried that and all it does is switch between screens. I looked in the Control Panel and don't see anywhere I can change this....AGGGHHH HELP lol

BTW, I have windows VISTA

It might help to adjust the resolution.

A couple of weeks ago, DD and her SO brought me an updated computer. When I suggested that I needed things to be bigger, that is exactly what he did....change the resolution. HTH

I checked in resolution and there is nothing in there that says about the size of things on the screen??? Do not know what I am looking for. I changed a couple of things, but nothing is working.

Can you tell me exactly what I change in the resolution because there is a box with a whole bunch of things to change and do not know what it means. My screen resolution for the monitor is as high as it goes if that's what you mean.

Right click on the desktop in any blank place. Go down to Properties. Click on the Settings tab. You should see a window that says Screen Resolution. Drag the little widget to the left to increase the size of your icons and such.

That is what I did originally. But then I went into a diff section of the control panel under "ease of access" under optimize visual display and changed the font size to largest. I have my computer back.
