OT Christmas Photos

Where do you take your little ones for their Christmas photo. I've seen ads from Sears, Target, K-Mart, and JC Penney's. Any recommendations?

We have done Picture People in the past, but tomorrow are trying Portrait Innovations. I've heard tons of good things about them & their packages.

I have been going to Penneys for the last 4 years and am very happy with their pictures! I am part of their portrait club and with it, you do not have to pay the sitting fees. Also, you can't beat their portrait prices.

we have done walmart, jc penney, and picture people.
for the past 4-5 years we have been just going to picture people,

But also... we have made a backdrop ourselves and taken pictures and ordered them through shutterfly. They come out great and you are in your home and take what you want and how you want and then pick what you want out of them. I've done her Christening, some birthday pics, summer pics etc..this way and have received lots of comments.
I'm NOT a good Photog but it is amazing how good you can make these through shutterfly.

Our Christmas pictures we usually do ourselves, but we use Penney's for DS's solo pictures for 6 months, 1 year, etc. Always had good pictures. As for Olin Mills, they did my bridal portrait. No real complaints there either, although I know some people aren't huge fans. Would this be a stand alone Olin Mills or one of the ones in K-mart/Walmart?

my best christmas pictures, I took myself- I dressed the kids up and went to a local conservation area on a nice fall day. I let them explore and I got great shots

We do our Christmas pictures at Portrait Innovations, and for any other pictures throughout the year, we get them at Picture People.

We don't have a tone of choices here, but out of them all, I think Sear's does the best. It's the only place I have pictures done at anymore, including my bridal portraits.

I had mine taken at Target, they are my favorite quick studio around here. I got lucky and had lots of great shots to choose from. I need to go pick them up, they were supposed to arrive yesterday!

I have had them taken at Sears, Wal-Mart and JC Penneys before. I prefer Sears to the rest of them.

This year though our Christmas Pictures will be at WDW, with our own Camera.

We went to Walmart yesterday actually, and that is where we have always gone. I have heard a lot of people having a bad experience there, but I have always had great service. The photographer Connie was great with the girls and got a lot of good shots. She was not pushy when it came time to purchase the pictures either. I HATE THAT!!! I took our pics at home in front of the tree last year, but it has been since DD#2 was a year old that she has had her picture taken, so I thought it was time to get them done!!
