Morning everyone,
Well I got up at the usual time, listened to the radio and my school wasn't on the closed list (the head texts us anyway if school is shut and I hadn't had a text), so I get dressed, spend 5 minutes getting in to my car (the doors had all frozen shut!), then spent 15 minutes clearing all the snow off (I had about 6 inches on my windscreen), set off for school at 10mph as the roads were that bad. Then half way there the phone goes, so I pull over. School is closed, we can't get on to the site as there is too much snow and ice, the school is on a hill and cars can't get up the slope to get into the grounds. So I turn around and am back home!! On the plus side my car is now clear and I intend to spend today doing all the work I would have needed to do during half term!
Anyone else still snowed in?

we never get snow here. i can only remember a couple of times as a child and even then it wasnt very much. thats why i was so excited to see snow at dlrp

Morning all !!! It's drizzling here. Don't know which is worse.. rain or snow. Erm, actually, snow lol.

Off into town for a bit. Haven't been there for aaaaaaaaages (one week is a long time for me to not go into town! lol) and I also want to get Adam's feet measured. Don't think they've grown as his shoes are still ok but it'd make me feel better that I've done it (as haven't done it since Sept?!). Mind you, he does need another pair of shoes anyway - the poor kid only has a pair of shoes and his wellies... oh and his Crocs.
